The Acadiana Recovery Center is a new 18,000 sq.ft. facility, which is located in the heart of downtown Lafayette. It has met all of State and Local housing authority building codes and is inspected annually by the State Fire Marshal’s Office. The Facility has many interior and exterior monitors that promote safety for staff and clients. It also is equipped with a Fire Alarm system and for security purposes; many areas of the facility are accessible by code and/or staff keys.
The Acadiana Recovery Center is located within close proximity to the Federal Court House and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Department Correctional Center, thus making it a secure and safe area.
The Acadiana Recovery Center is a licensed residential and outpatient treatment program under the Department of Health and Hospitals / Bureau of Health Standards. The Center is subject to a yearly licensing audit by the Bureau of Health Standards, the State Fire Marshals Office and the Department of Public Health.
The residential program undergoes a quarterly site visit for quality assurance measures by the Region IV Administrative Office. Failure to meet and exceed any of these standards can result in the immediate termination of our license. The USPO/PSO and a representative with the Bureau of Prisons survey the outpatient program yearly. The findings from any and all site visits are taken seriously and corrective action is implemented immediately.
