A normal everyday young man attempting to make a difference. Went to school, graduated, has a family, and is a hard worker.
Kenneth Boudreaux, known to most as The Defense Attorney for Youth, (a youth activist) is a very energetic, dedicated individual at meeting the needs of our youth. Kenneth exist in many facets such as Youth Services and Programs Director, Radio Teen Talk Show Host, Recreational Center Supervisor, Counselor, Health Information Center Director, Coordinator, Programmer, Facilitator, and Motivational Speaker among others.
Raised in Lafayette, LA Kenneth was born on July 30, 1968. A very motivated individual since his youth, Kenneth likes to motivate, inspire, encourage and advise the actions and lives of young people. He speaks out on such issues as leadership, cultural diversity, non-violence, esteem building, drugs, alcohol prevention, and black history among others. For this Kenneth Founded To The Front To The Top, a motivational Speaking/Training Consulting Organization.
Kenneth works with youth and adult organizations to encourage and promote positive life choices, to have a positive peer effect on another person, and the importance of the adult sector working with the youth sector with an open mind and unlimited vision at meeting the needs of young people.
Through his works, Kenneth has been the recipient of numerous awards. A few being Big Brothers & Big Sisters “Big Brother of the Year” 1991, Kiwanis Club Citizen of the Year, Omega Psi Phi Man of the Year, City of Lafayette Police Department Civilian Award, Outstanding Young Man State of Louisiana Lafayette Jaycees, Honorary Attorney General Award among others.
Kenneth would be the first to say that he does not do what he does for awards or fame, he does it because he has had a very fortunate up bringing, a very blessed life and is ultimately working for eternal life in God’s kingdom.
Kenneth has made many contributions to the community abroad. He has established himself by hosting Holla Back Q95.5 teen talk show, appearing on many television and radio talk shows, quoted in many newspapers and magazine articles and appearing at schools (elementary, middle, and high), churches and community events.
Kenneth sees himself as a ubiquitous communicator. He compares his professional development to a “full circle in motion”, a continual evolution of communication through all mediums of public access resources. He plans to continue to develop his talents in the area of music, theater and as an author. His immediate plans include publishing of a book/manual.
I am an active, tithing member of Immanuel United Methodist Church located at 2700 Louisiana Avenue, which is in this district. I am married to the former Monica McZeal and we have three children, Jasmine 13, Reginold and Kayla both 9. I am a graduate of Northside High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana. I am very active in my church, the local schools, Brown Park Association, as well as many other volunteer service organizations. I want to bring this type of active service to the council. I am going to be your blue collar, hard working, giving it all I got councilman.
Kenneth would like the people of the world to know that he loves them and he prays for them.
