Andy has been a resident of District 6 since 1957. He is a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima School in 1972 and a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1979. At USL, Andy was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, USL’s Stockmen’s Association, Alpha Zeta Honor Society and the Alumni Association.
He has worked in building materials supply since 1978 and has been a part of Doug Ashy Building Materials since 1990.
Andy has served as a volunteer for:
- Festival International
- Festival Acadiens
- Past House Captain for Rebuild Acadiana
- Christmas in April
