Currently Under Construction - Public access to the park will be limited to certain areas until further notice, due to construction activities. The area within the chain-link fence near the existing red barn (where the Farmer’s Market takes place) is the only area still open to the public, from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week. There is no public access to park acreage beyond the Coulee Mine until construction activities are completed. We appreciate your patience during this time while we build out Phase 1!

Moncus Park, located in the heart of Acadiana in Lafayette, is approximately 100 acres of rolling hills, open meadows and forested ravines, spotted with large live oak trees. It is the last remaining significantly sized piece of beautiful undeveloped public property located within the city.

Downtown Parks:
Parc International

Located on the corner of Garfield and Polk St. in downtown. The largest of the three downtown parks, Parc International is gated, includes a stage, two backstage dressing rooms, two public restrooms, two water fountains, two pavilions, and an equipment room.
 
Parc Sans Souci
Located at 201 E. Vermilion St. It includes a gazebo, grassy areas and a large fountain, which is a favorite among park-goers. This park is used for concerts, foot races, weddings and more.
 
Parc Putnam
Is the smallest of the three downtown parks and is located in front of the Courthouse. The parc offers benches and beautiful landscaping.
