Identity of Women Sought in Forged Check Case

Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the woman in the below photo. The woman was captured on video cashing a forged check at an area bank in Lafayette. The check was stolen from a business in Lafayette Parish in April of 2010 and the suspect took the check to a bank in Lafayette, cashed it for several hundred dollars.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is encouraged to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
