Convenience Store Robbery Occurs on Ambassador Caffery

On June 30, 2010, at approximately 10:25 pm, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to 2302 Ambassador Caffery Parkway regarding an armed robbery. The suspect entered the store wearing all black and carrying a small pistol. Once inside the store the suspect demanded money from the clerk. The suspect was last seen running from the store in a southwest direction.

The suspect is described as a black male 6’2” to 6’4” tall and approximately 200 pounds. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
