Police Seek Clues in Armed Robbery

On July 23, 2010, at approximately 2:30 am, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the Circle K Convenience Store, located at 3400 West Pinhook Road, regarding an armed robbery. The clerk advised officers that the suspect entered the store and gave the victim the impression that he was armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a black male approximately 6’00” tall, wearing dark clothing with a scarf wrapped around his face. The suspect fled the store on foot towards Bonin Road.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
