Eatery Customer Robbed in Parking Lot

On August 4, 2010, at approximately 4:00 am, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 2100 block of the NE Evangeline Thruway regarding an Armed Robbery. The victim, a 28 year old male of Florida, was walking in the parking lot of the Waffle House when he was approached by a black male. The suspect was holding a handgun and demanded the victim’s bag and laptop computer. The suspect was last seen entering a dark colored GM pickup truck driven by a second suspect. The suspect is described as a black male with dreadlocks. The victim was not injured during the incident.
