UPDATE: Robberies on Kaliste Saloom and West Pinhook Believed to be Connected

Lafayette, LA – Detectives have released the below photos of the suspect involved in both the W. Pinhook Rd robbery and the Kaliste Saloom robbery. The suspect is now believed to have committed both armed robberies.

Police Investigate Armed Robbery in the 3400 block of W. Pinhook
Original Release: December 6, 2013 @11:00 am

Lafayette, LA – On December 6, 2013, at approximately 12:47 am, Lafayette Police responded to the convenience store in the 3400 block of W Pinhook Road regarding an armed robbery. The clerk at the store advised officers that a black male suspect entered the store with a white shirt covering his face and armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build wearing a white long sleeve shirt covered by a dark colored vest.
Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
