Suspects Sought in Robbery on Adelma Street

Lafayette, LA – On December 16, 2013, at approximately 8:30 pm, Lafayette Police responded to an armed robbery in the 100 block of Adelma Street.  The two male victims told police they were standing near the roadway when a gold four door Saturn drove up to their location.  The suspect in the passenger's seat exited and approached the two victims.  The suspect produced a handgun and stole the victim's cellphones and cash.  The suspects then fled the area in the vehicle.

The suspect driving the vehicle is described as a black male wearing a black jacket.  The suspect who exited the vehicle was a thin black male wearing a gray sweater and blue jeans.

Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspects to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
