Suspect Sought in Morning Bank Robbery
Lafayette, LA – On February 6, 2014, at approximately 10:35 am, Lafayette Police responded to a bank robbery in the 800 block of West Pinhook Road.  According to employee’s at the bank, the suspect entered the business wearing a mask and approached the teller.  The suspect demanded money and then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.  No weapon was produced by the suspect during the robbery.  There were no injuries reported inside of the bank.
The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’6” tall; thin build wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans.
Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the robbery to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
