Evangeline Corridor Residents Asked to Help Prioritize Projects
Posted: 5/8/2017 11:00 AM

As part of its Meeting in a Box program, the Evangeline Corridor Initiative (ECI) is hosting a series of district meetings at the Rosa Parks Transportation Center so that residents and business owners can weigh in on potential improvements in their districts.

“Over the last several months, residents and business owners have shared their ideas and prioritized planned improvements for the area. These upcoming meetings are designed to present the results of the ECI design process,” said ECI Project Manager Neil LeBouef, who is also a Lafayette Consolidated Government planner.

Specifically, these results include more than 40 catalyst projects for neighborhoods in the corridor: improvement projects with the potential to revitalize the area and spark investment.

Meeting in a Box sessions will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Rosa Parks Transportation Center, located at 101 Jefferson St. in Lafayette.
