Mr. Dubroc joined the Robideaux administration on July 17, 2017 with 30 years of experience as a registered professional engineer. He has a varied professional background including drainage, roadway and bridge design, commercial and residential development and structural design, solid waste transfer facilities, as well as site planning.
Before heading LCG's Public Works Department, Mr. Dubroc worked as a principal and engineer with Dubroc Engineering, Inc. since its founding in 1994 and served in various roles including President, Vice President of Operations, Chief Financial Officer and Project Manager. Through these diverse roles, he gained considerable experience in administration and management of technical personnel, corporate accounting and technology.
 
Along with the regular duties of the Public Works Director, Mr. Dubroc is tasked with addressing drainage issues throughout Lafayette Parish and moving forward on existing infrastructure projects. The Public Works Director supervises, manages and administers 340+ employees and is responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of streets, drainage, parks, buildings and other infrastructure and engineering. The Public Works Department also includes oversight of environmental quality and compliance along with Lafayette’s public transit system and maintaining the Parish’s vehicle and equipment fleet.
 
 
Mr. Dubroc holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a lifelong resident of Lafayette.
