Welcome to the official website of the Lafayette Consolidated Government. I hope that you will enjoy the new look of our website. But most importantly, it is our goal to continue to find ways to get our residents on-line, as opposed to having to wait in-line.

Not unlike any large corporation, our government must keep up with the latest trends in technology – and in fact, should lead the way in keeping up with its customers ever-growing desire to communicate and do business on-line.

I am pleased with the progress we have made in the last few years. In the last four years we have given our residents the opportunity to pay bills on-line, report neighborhood problems, report potholes, view public documents on-line and start the permitting process online. And there is more on the way.

Please tour the website to meet my administrative team. I am proud of the diverse, talented individuals that we have assembled to lead this government – and hope that you are too. They represent the best and brightest this parish has to offer, regardless of gender, race, or age.

Hopefully you will find this new website to be very user friendly. But make no mistake, that despite the importance I will continue to place on technology during my administration, technology will never replace the hands-on, personal leadership that I will provide for all citizens and employees.
