Participants should plan to attend the training on both days which will include key elements to prepare and compete for federal funding, understanding the grant application process, factors for award, board development, organization capacity building, leveraging public/private funding, outcomes and performance measurement, and hands-on exercises in grant elements. Attendees will also learn about HUD programs, Office of Investigation, Community Development Block Grants Disaster Recovery Funds, other Federal and State Agencies, Local Parish Offices, Foundations, Banks, Lending Institutions and Institutions and other available resources.

The two-day workshop will be held Nov. 1-2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days at Vermilionville Performance Center (300 Fisher Road) in Lafayette.
