LCG has an administrative hearing process to handle citation appeals for the SafeSpeed program. It is similar to the process used by Parking Enforcement and includes the independent hearing officers who hear parking citation appeals. Please read the information below:
Requesting an Administrative Hearing:
- The appeal form included with the SafeSpeed citation must be submitted to the SafeSpeed office by the respond by date printed on the citation.
- Incomplete information or failure to contest the citation within a 30-day time period will automatically end the appeal process and the SafeSpeed citation must be paid.
- The independent hearing officer's decision will be announced at the end of the hearing.
