CLASS TITLE: LABOR FOREMAN II – Bridges
MINIMUM STARTING PAY: HOURLY - $12.86-$16.08/DOE - MONTHLY - $2,229-$2,787/DOE
PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Position is assigned to the Bridge Crew and is required to assist and direct laborers with all aspects of bridge maintenance/repair and also assist and lead the beaver eradication program throughout the parish.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of high school and considerable experience in the maintenance, repair and minor construction of bridge structures, including some lead worker experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience is desired.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
Valid driver’s license required to apply. Valid Louisiana Class E driver license, prior to appointment.
TYPE OF EXAMINATION
Examination will be a written exam.
