6TH ANNUAL BICYCLE SAFETY FESTIVAL
Lafayette, LA – Bicyclists are invited to the 6th Annual Bicycle Safety Festival for a day of fun with the goal of educating cyclists and motorists. The festival is held in conjunction with the Lafayette Public Library Summer Reading Kickoff and is made possible through a partnership with Broussard & David law firm, Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG), Bike Lafayette, and the library.
Thanks to the generosity of Broussard & David, there is no charge to attend or participate in activities. "We continue to host this event each year to educate cyclists and motorists about bicycle safety and the rules of the road,” said sponsor and organizer Blake David. “Our community partners see the need for bicycle awareness from many different lenses and we are excited to have downtown Lafayette, Kiwanis Club of Acadiana, and Hub City Cycles join our efforts to help make the roads in Acadiana safe for all users."When: Saturday, June 4, 2022, 9 a.m.-noon
Where: Parc Putnam, downtown Lafayette
