ELIAS G ROAD BRIDGE CROSSING ILE DES CANNES CLOSING FOR REPAIRS 

Lafayette, LA – Drivers who use the Elias G Road bridge crossing Coulee Ile des Cannes should prepare for alternate routes for approximately one month, weather permitting. The bridge will close on Monday, May 9, for repairs. 

A detour sign directs drivers to use Bourque Road to cross the coulee.
