CITY AND PARISH SANDBAG LOCATIONS

With inclement weather approaching, sandbag locations are open and available to residents. All locations are self-bagging, and residents must bring their own shovels and manpower.

MAY 7 PUBLIC SERVICES

Due to forecasted heavy rain and flash flooding on Wednesday, May 7, Lafayette Transit System will delay service start to 10:00 a.m. to ensure passenger and driver safety. Summer 2025: Camp Ignite

The ultimate summer adventure starts with Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation, & Culture (PARC)—Camp Ignite 2025 is open for registration! This summer camp will take place June 9 - July 18 (closed June 30-July 4). Space limited to first 100 campers.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY

Saturday, May 31 | 8am-12pm

Residents of the City of Lafayette and the unincorporated areas of the parish are encouraged to safely dispose of unwanted household chemicals and materials during Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1229 NW Evangeline Thruway (Enter from Donlon).

Youth Advisory Council

Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet is inviting high school students across Lafayette Parish to apply for the 2025-2026 Mayor-President’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC). Applications will be accepted from April 16 through June 16, 2025.

Vendor Access Registration

LCG is implementing a new software system that will provide better services to all of our vendors.  As a vendor, you can now access a self-service portal on our website which will let you update your information, see your payments, and much more.
