ROAD CLOSURE: 1000 BLOCK OF W. ST. MARY BOULEVARD

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department announces the temporary closure of the 1000 block of W. St. Mary Boulevard (located between Oleander Street and Hibiscus Street) beginning Monday, March 10, 2025, through Friday, March 21, 2025.

The closure is necessary for Drainage personnel to replace the subsurface cross drain across W. St. Mary Boulevard. To accommodate the work, detour routes will be in place, and local access will be maintained.

Detour Routes:

• Ray Avenue
• St. Louis Street
• Howard Avenue
• Hibiscus Street
• Myrtle Place
• Oleander Street

Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
