POYDRAS STREET REZONING DEFERRED TO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 7^TH 

Lafayette, LA – As it relates to the Poydras Street Rezoning ordinance, Council Chair Glenn Lazard advises that the ordinance will be deferred to the November 7, 2023 City Council Meeting. 

A description of the ordinance, as was slated to be considered for final adoption during the City Council Meeting of tonight, October 17, 2023, is offered as follows:  

CO-141-2023 An ordinance of the Lafayette City Council amending the Lafayette Development Code so as to reclassify the property of Case No. 2023-18-REZ 100 Poydras Street Rezoning, located generally north of Hopkins Street, west of Poydras Street, and south of Huval Street; being rezoned from RM-1 (Residential Mixed) to CM-1 (Commercial Mixed).
