FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION RETURNS TO DOWNTOWN LAFAYETTE

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette’s signature Fourth of July celebration makes its return to the heart of Downtown Lafayette this Friday, July 4, 2025. Lafayette Stars & Stripes, presented by LUS and LFT Fiber, promises an evening filled with patriotic spirit, live music, food, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and a grand fireworks finale. The free event will take place in Parc International (200 Garfield Street) with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. and fireworks at 9:00 p.m.

Live Music
Performances will include the two-time Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, along with The Good Dudes, DJ RV, Layla Lavergne, and School of Rock Acadiana.

Food Vendors
Attendees can enjoy a variety of local cuisine from Southern Kreole, Reggie’s Soulfood, Nina Creole, and Chez Mawje.

Pop-Up Vendors
Shop local with unique offerings from 2 Sons Creations, After Hour Creations, Doc Popcorn, Earthly Arms, jBloom & PermaLinx by BeckyV, JM Southern Designs, Jules Create, Karla’s Kreations, Pure Intentions Candle Co., Phoenix Rising Dragon Soaring, bleaumoss3d, Reba Water, Red Hatter Productions, Scentsy, Strawberry Lane, Cowgirl Refreshers, Sunset Slush Acadiana, Too Turnt Designs, and Uno Paleta.

Beverages
Featured drinks will be available from Laffy Taps Beer Bus, a cocktail and mocktail bar, Reba Water, and Sunset Slush.

Activities & Special Features
The event will feature a Kids Tent, access to the Children’s Museum playground, face painting, photo booth, flag ceremony conducted by the Lafayette Fire Department, cooling tents, and a fireworks show beginning at 9:00 p.m.

Event Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please note that pets, ice chests, and outside food or beverages are not permitted at the event. Parking is available in both downtown garages: Parc-Auto du Centerville (121 E. Vermilion Street) and South Buchanan Garage (809 South Buchanan) as well as street parking throughout Downtown Lafayette.
