TICKET TO WORK PROGRAM

Social Security's Ticket to Work Program supports career development for people with disabilities who want to work. Social Security disability beneficiaries age 18 through 64 qualify; the program is completely free and voluntary. The goal of the program is to help individuals with disabilities progress toward financial independence.

Work Incentives are protections that allow participants to keep some benefits for specific periods of time when beginning to work. They function like a “safety net,” so beneficiaries can try working without fear of losing their benefits.

Lafayette Consolidated Government is an authorized Ticket to Work service provider.
