ROAD CLOSURE: ELMWOOD DRIVE BETWEEN ROBLEY DRIVE AND MAPLEWOOD DRIVE SCHEDULED MARCH 3–10

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) will close the 300 block of Elmwood Drive, between Robley Drive and Maplewood Drive, for daily work from Tuesday, March 3 through Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

During this time, crews will be replacing a subsurface cross drain to improve drainage in the area.

Detours and Access:

• Detour routes will be posted and include Robley Drive, Broadmoor Boulevard, and Maplewood Drive.
• Local access on Elmwood Drive will be maintained throughout the work.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detours for a safe and smooth commute. LCG thanks the public for their patience while this important drainage infrastructure improvement is completed.
