LafayetteNOW allows officials within Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) to quickly share important information with the public during emergencies, including severe weather, road closures, evacuations, shelter updates, and public safety alerts.

Depending on your subscription preferences, you may receive alerts about:

  • Severe weather (e.g., hurricanes, floods, tornadoes)
  • Evacuation notices or shelter-in-place orders
  • Road closures or traffic incidents
  • Public safety emergencies (e.g., hazardous material spills, police activity)
  • PARC activities (e.g. family-friendly events, programming calendars, athletics opportunities)
  • Transit updates (e.g. route changes, holiday hours, operational updates)
