ROAD CLOSURE extension: Becky Lane between Kaliste Saloom Road and Drury Lane

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) announces the scheduled daily closure (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) of Becky Lane between Kaliste Saloom Road and Drury Lane has been extended through Saturday, October 31, 2026. 

LCG thanks the public for their continued patience as this drainage work continues.

ROAD CLOSURE: Becky Lane between Kaliste Saloom Road and Drury Lane

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) announces the scheduled daily closure (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) of Becky Lane between Kaliste Saloom Road and Drury Lane from Monday, August 17 through September 30, 2026.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to replace existing erosion control measures and drainage infrastructure. The project includes replacing deteriorated pipes, replacing one existing catch basin, installing one new catch basin, and replacing erosion control measures within the coulee.

Detour routes will be made available and local access maintained.

The detour routes will consist of:

• Kaliste Saloom Road
• Rue Louis XIV
• Drury Lane 

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution through the work zones.
