LAFAYETTE STARS & STRIPES CELEBRATES AMERICA’S 250TH ANNIVERSARY WITH CLASSIC FOURTH OF JULY FOOD, PATRIOT PAVILION, LIVE MUSIC & FIREWORKS 

LAFAYETTE, LA – Lafayette Stars & Stripes is bringing more than just fireworks and live music to Downtown Lafayette this Fourth of July. As the community gathers to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, guests can also expect an incredible lineup of classic American food, patriotic treats, and festival favorites at one of Acadiana’s largest Independence Day celebrations.

Returning to Parc International in Downtown Lafayette, Lafayette Stars & Stripes continues its tradition of combining live entertainment, family fun, community pride, and unforgettable food experiences into one massive evening celebration.

Presented by Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) and LFT Fiber, this year’s event will feature a wide variety of food and beverage offerings curated to celebrate some of America’s favorite Fourth of July traditions.

Leading the culinary experience will be Dardar’s Blackpot Catering, serving up crowd favorites including:
• Cheeseburgers hot off the grill
• Classic American hot dogs
• BBQ plate lunches packed with Southern flavor
• Patriotic desserts and specialty treats
• Family-friendly food options for all ages

Guests can also enjoy a full-service bar, presented by Serving Good Vibes, featuring beer, cocktails, wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the evening.

In addition to the food experience, Lafayette Stars & Stripes is proud to introduce the first-ever Patriot Pavilion, a purpose-driven hospitality space created to honor veterans, active-duty military members, and their immediate families.

The pavilion will feature:
• Covered open-air lounge seating
• Dedicated food and beverage service
• Relaxed hospitality environment
• Patriotic activations
• A comfortable gathering space for military families during the event

Entry into the Patriot Pavilion is reserved exclusively for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their immediate family members. Military ID or DD214 documentation will be required for entry.

Guests attending Lafayette Stars & Stripes can also look forward to:
• Live music and entertainment throughout the evening featuring The Elements: The Music of Earth, Wind & Fire performed by Souled Out, Rusty Metoyer & The Zydeco Krush, and DJ Digital keeping the celebration going all night long
• Interactive kids' activities and family entertainment
• Pop-up vendors and local shopping experiences
• A grand fireworks finale over Downtown Lafayette at 9:30 PM
• Free admission for the entire community

Gates open at 5:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, explore Downtown Lafayette, enjoy the food and festivities, and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary together in the heart of Acadiana.
