Lane Closures on West Farrell Road

LANE CLOSURES ON WEST FARRELL ROAD

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Public Works Department will begin a road resurfacing project on West Farrell Road at on Monday, October 27, 2025.

The project limits extend 0.35 miles from Kaliste Saloom Road to Settlers Trace Boulevard, with construction being performed by Glenn Lege Construction. Work is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting.

During construction, motorists can expect single-lane closures and intermittent full closures along West Farrell Road. Detour routes will be available via Settlers Trace Boulevard, Old Settlement Road, Kaliste Saloom Road, and Ambassador Caffery Parkway.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use caution in the construction zone, and follow posted signage for the safety of both workers and the traveling public.
