PARC Reopens Martin Luther King Recreation Center Pool

LAFAYETTE PARC ANNOUNCES REOPENING OF POOL AT MARTIN LUTHER KING RECREATION CENTER

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture (PARC) is pleased to announce the reopening of the pool at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center on Friday, July 10, 2026.

The Martin Luther King Recreation Center pool will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pool will operate on this schedule through the remainder of the summer season, with the final weekend anticipated to be August 7–9, 2026.

Residents can also enjoy swimming at the Robicheaux Recreation Center pool, which will continue to operate Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. through the end of the season, with the final weekend also scheduled for August 7–9, 2026.

PARC encourages families and residents to take advantage of these opportunities to stay active, cool off, and enjoy the remainder of the summer at two of Lafayette's community recreation centers.
