Road Closure: St. Esprit Road
Lafayette, LA – St. Esprit Road will be closed from Rue Des Estoiles to Catholique Road (approximately 0.4 miles) beginning Friday, November 14, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.
The closure is necessary to allow for the installation of roadside drainage and road rehabilitation/resurfacing which will be completed by Elliott Construction Co. Work is expected to take approximately three months to complete, weather permitting.
Detour routes include Rue Des Estoiles, Catholique Road, and Beau Bassin Road. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and follow posted detour signage.
