Robley Drive Closure for E. Broussard Roundabout Project

ROAD CLOSURE: Robley Drive at E. Broussard Road

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) announces the scheduled closure of Robley Drive at E. Broussard Road from Friday, August 21, 2026 starting at 9 a.m. through November 21, 2026. 

The closure of Robley Drive is necessary to accommodate construction of a roundabout at the intersection with E. Broussard Road. This project is designed to alleviate traffic congestion in the area. The closure of Robley Drive allows traffic at E. Broussard Road to flow freely thereby significantly reducing the construction time of this project. The closure begins at 9 a.m., allowing morning peak traffic to continue without disruption.

Message boards are currently in place at six different locations to announce the closure and communicate the detour routes. 

Detour routes will be made available and will consist of:

• Robley Drive
• Teljean Road
• Johnston Street
• E. Broussard Road

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution through the work zones.
