The Athletics division of Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department provides recreational activities for Youth ages 5-17 and Adults 18 and above. Its mission is to meet physical and social needs of the citizens of Acadiana.
Registration for Lafayette PARC’s Adult Flag Football Leagues opens Friday, September 5, 2025, and will run through Friday, October 3, 2025. Teams may register online or in person at the Lafayette PARC Administrative Office in Girard Park (500 Girard Park Drive).
This year’s leagues include:
The registration fee is $650 per team, with a maximum roster of 15 players. All teams must provide their own jerseys. Registration fees will cover league operating costs.
An organizational meeting for team managers will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the PARC Administrative Office (500 Girard Park Drive).
The season is tentatively set to begin the week of October 13, 2025, with games played on Wednesdays at Moore Park. A full schedule will be released after registration closes.

Registration is now open for the 2025 Youth Football and Volleyball seasons. This year, youth athletes can participate in Tackle Football, Flag Football, or Volleyball, with a variety of age divisions offered through five local partner associations.
Flag Football is open to boys and girls ages 5–16, with both coed and girls-only divisions available. Tackle Football is open to children ages 8–13, and Volleyball is open to boys and girls ages 7–16.
Games for Flag Football and Tackle Football will be held on Tuesdays beginning September 2 and October 7. Volleyball games will begin on Saturday, September 20, and take place at the Robicheaux, Domingue, Comeaux, Martin Luther King, and Dupuis Recreation Centers.
Registration is being managed by the Scott Area Team Sports (SATS), Carencro Area Youth Sports Inc. (CAYSI), Cajun Sports Association (CSA), Brown Park Athletics (BPA), and Southwest Athletics (SWA). Parents can register online or attend a walk-up registration event listed below.
