This public hearing provides an opportunity to learn how federal housing and community development funds are used, review prior-year accomplishments, and share input on local housing and community development needs that will help shape funding priorities for the upcoming program year.

Two identical sessions will be offered to improve accessibility. Public comments may be submitted in person or in writing, and all feedback will be documented and reported to HUD.

LCG invites you to join us for the official groundbreaking of the Prejean Road Roadway & Drainage Improvements Project. This

$3 million infrastructure investment will raise and pave Prejean Road from just east of Gourmet Road to Sunflower Estates Lane while adding storm drains beneath the roadway. These improvements are designed to enhance driving conditions and help reduce flooding in the surrounding community.

Mardi Gras Flag Raising ()

Lafayette Consolidated Government will host a Mardi Gras Flag Raising in partnership with the Greater Southwest Mardi Gras Association.
