Matthew Duhon, Chief Innovation Officer
Matthew was appointed as Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Chief Innovation Officer in January 2024. Previously, Duhon was an Information Technology leader at Ochsner Lafayette General for eight years. During that time, he implemented multiple solutions bringing innovative workflows, technology and software to advance healthcare for the region. Using automation and logical programming, he promoted accessibility and reduced paper and manual workflows. In his various roles at Ochsner Lafayette General, Duhon oversaw the implementation of new departmental processes, led major clinical projects, managed multi-million dollar budgets and supported innovative technology initiatives.
Born and raised in Acadiana, Duhon resides in Rayne with his wife and two children. He went to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned two bachelor’s degrees followed by an MBA from LSU Shreveport.
