Lafayette Announces Marilyn Drive Road Closure

ROAD CLOSURE: MARILYN DRIVE

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government announces the closure of Marilyn Drive located between Leon Drive and Ayreshire Drive on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 10 am to 2 pm. 

The road closure is necessary for a LCG contractor to install an asphalt speed lump.

The detour routes will consist of:

-          Leon Drive

-          Claymore Drive

-          Ayreshire Drive

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution through the work zones.
