George Marks, Director of International Trade & Development

George Marks is the Director of International Trade & Development for Lafayette Consolidated Government. In this role, he leads the Lafayette International Center and works to expand international partnerships, support trade and investment opportunities, and strengthen Lafayette’s global presence.

Marks brings more than 20 years of experience in cultural development and international engagement. He is the founder of the NUNU Arts & Culture Collective and has led numerous initiatives connecting Louisiana to global networks through cultural exchange, economic development, and strategic partnerships.
