Helping Lafayette Residents Dispose Responsibly
The Environmental Quality Convenience Center (EQCC) provides residents of the City of Lafayette and unincorporated Lafayette Parish with a safe, convenient location to dispose of residential waste and recyclable materials at no charge.
The facility is designed to support cleaner neighborhoods, responsible waste management, and environmental sustainability throughout Lafayette Consolidated Government’s jurisdiction.

Wednesday - Saturday: 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Sunday: 8:00AM - 12:00PM
Closed Monday & Tuesday
Residential Use Only - Commercial Waste Is Not Accepted
Who Can Use the EQCC?
Residents living within the City of Lafayette and unincorporated Lafayette Parish areas may use the EQCC at no charge.
Present a Valid Driver's License
Have Active Garbage Service Within LCG's Jurisdiction
EQCC Staff Will Verify Residency During Check-In
Fees for Non-Residents
Residents living outside the City of Lafayette or unincorporated Lafayette Parish areas may still use the facility for a fee.
$20 Per Vehicle (Car or Truck)
$30 for Vehicles With Trailers
Visit Guidelines
Usage Limits
Maximum of two visits per day.
Maximum of two days within a seven-day period.
Important Reminders
Secure and cover all loads during transport.
Residents will need to unload all materials themselves. There will be a ramp for residents to drive up and to organize items into their respective bins.
Staff may turn away non-compliant loads.
