Compliance Division

The Compliance Division works to ensure that every property within the City of Lafayette and the unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish maintain compliance with the Lafayette City-Parish Code of Ordinances. The purpose is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public.

The primary goal of the Compliance Division is to fairly and efficiently enforce the Lafayette City-Parish Code of Ordinances by achieving voluntary compliance through cooperation with property and business owners.
