Adopt a Stop

Lafayette’s Adopt A Stop Program

Did you know Lafayette has more than 500 bus stops, but fewer than 10% have shelters? That means thousands of Lafayette Transit riders wait in the rain, scorching sun, or cold each year. By sponsoring a bus stop, you help provide safety, dignity, and shelter for public transit users.

How It Works

  1. Choose Your Stop – Select a location that matters to you.
  2. Select Your Sponsorship Level
    • Gotcha Covered: $10,000 – Fully funds and names a new shelter at your chosen stop.
    • Rain Check: $6,000 – Contributes to a shared shelter build at high-need stops.
  3. Make It Official – Your tax-deductively donation helps install a new shelter with your name recognition.
