A new year-round resource for safe household waste disposal.
Environmental Quality Convenience Center (EQCC) - COMING SOON!
Lafayette Consolidated Government is constructing the Environmental Quality Convenience Center (EQCC), a permanent facility that will provide residents with a safe, convenient location to dispose of household hazardous waste and other difficult-to-dispose-of materials throughout the year.
Once open, the EQCC will expand disposal opportunities beyond Household Hazardous Waste Day by giving eligible residents a dedicated location for many common household items that should never be placed in curbside trash. The EQCC will be located at 400 Dugas Road, Lafayette, LA 70507.
Construction is currently underway. Learn more about the construction of the facility by viewing the press release.
