Voluntary Compliance

Any property owner or business who has received a voluntary compliance letter for a violation should contact the Compliance Division as soon as possible to discuss the options for remedies of those violations. The Compliance Division will grant extensions to property owners and businesses if it appears that reasonable efforts have been made to correct violations or if good reason exists to extend the compliance date due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Failure to comply within the approved voluntary compliance period will result in the case being referred to the Administrative Adjudication Bureau as outlined in LDC 89-170.
