What is Keep Lafayette Beautiful?
Keep Lafayette Beautiful is an official committee of Lafayette Consolidated Government dedicated to engaging residents in taking greater responsibility for our shared environment in Lafayette Parish. As a proud affiliate of Keep Louisiana Beautiful, we lead local projects and partnerships that promote cleaner, greener, and more vibrant spaces—because when Lafayette is beautiful, we all thrive!
Key Projects & Initiatives
KLB has multiple projects throughout Lafayette that they keep clean, maintain, and beautify! These project include:
- Pontiac Point (Labyrinth)
- City Hall
Partnering with the Environmental Quality Division, KLB helps provide recycling drop off bins across Lafayette to recycle Christmas lights.
KLB has worked with local artist, Hannah Gumbo for multiple projects throughout Lafayette Parish, including public art, the Keep Lafayette Beautiful Coloring Sheet, and more!
An initiative to reduce litter along the parade routes as well as collect and recycle beads and other throws.

Yearly Volunteer Opportunities
Throughout the year, KLB helps the Environment Quality division to put on events to help recycle, clean up, or beautify Lafayette. They are always looking for volunteers to help and participate! These local events include:
