Adam Marcantel, Director of the Civil Service Department

Adam brings over 15 years of experience in Human Resources in both the private and public sectors.  After earning a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, he entered the Human Resources world in 2003.  In 2004, the opportunity to serve as the Examination Analyst for Lafayette Consolidated Government presented itself, drawing him away from Texas, and he hasn’t looked back.  In 2012, after serving as both Examination Analyst and Senior Personnel Analyst, Adam took an opportunity to serve as a Compensation and Benefits Director in the private sector, but returned in 2015 to serve as Director of Civil Service.
