Speak Before Council

Procedures for speaking at Council meetings

Citizens may complete speaker forms(s) for submission to the Clerk of the Council or the Council staff prior to the call of the agenda item(s) for which they wish to speak and are allotted three (3) minutes of speaking time per item. Forms are located at the entrance to the meeting room.

Meetings of the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month (unless otherwise noted).

• Parish Council meetings begin at 4:30 p.m.
• City Council meetings begin at 5:30 p.m.
