Rachel Godeaux, Chief Administrative Officer
Rachel Godeaux was appointed as Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Chief Administrative Officer in January 2024. Previously, she led a team of Economic and Community Development professionals with the Acadiana Planning Commission (APC). Rachel possesses nearly 10 years of professional experience in project management, grant administration, community-wide planning, coalition building, and project start-ups. Rachel has administered grants through the Department of Health and Hospitals, LA Highway Safety Commission, US Environmental Protection Agency, US Economic Development Administration and more. Prior to her time at APC, Rachel managed a community-wide substance use prevention program for LCG. Rachel obtained a master’s degree in Public Administration from the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University (LSU) with a concentration in Public Policy.
